HLTH Care: Stuart Stokes Appointed Head of Care

We are pleased to announce that Stuart Stokes will be joining HLTH Group as our new Head of Care, where he will lead our newly established children’s division.

This appointment follows the recent acquisition of Williamson Care, a children’s residential home, marking an exciting step forward in our development. This move has been many months in planning, and with the right opportunity now in place, we are proud to formally expand into children’s services—reflecting our long-term commitment to improving outcomes for children and young people.

Stuart brings over 25 years of experience across social care, education, and support services. His background includes founding and leading a successful education and training provision, including an independent school designed specifically for children in residential care. More recently, he developed and launched an innovative service focused on supporting young people to remain safely in the community, rather than entering hospital or residential care.

With a proven track record of building and improving services, leading large teams, and working closely with local authorities, ICBs and partner organisations, Stuart is well-positioned to lead this next phase of growth. His values, experience, and energy align strongly with our mission and the direction we’re heading.

In addition to leading the children’s division, Stuart will join HLTH Group’s Senior Leadership Team, where he will contribute to operational development and commercial strategy across the wider organisation.

Reflecting on his new role, Stuart said:
“I’m really excited to be joining the team and contributing to the important work already underway. I look forward to collaborating with colleagues and partners to build on success and explore new ways to support the young people, organisations, and communities we serve.”

We are delighted to welcome Stuart to HLTH Group and look forward to the positive impact his leadership will bring across both Williamson Care and our wider work.
